Look how fragile my tears are
When it touches the ground; it breaks.
It speaks a lone word,
it makes a deaf man’s ear ache.
My tears scream for freedom
From the mind prison, I’m stuck in.
When provoked, a river it cries
When happy, it escapes.
My tears are voiceless
But can you hear it?
The whimpers and sniffs
Often mistaken as giggles and laughter.
